Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Ability to maintain personal cleanliness
- 1-2 years of culinary experience preferred
- 1 year of fine dining experience highly preferred
- High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety preferred
- Full-time applicants must have minimum of 4 days of availability
- Weekend availability required
- Part-time applicants must have 1 of 3 weekend days available (Fri, Sat, Sun)
- Seasonal hires must be able to commit minimum of 3 months
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers frequently
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs occasionally
- Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years of culinary experience preferred
- 1 year of fine dining experience highly preferred
- High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety preferred

- Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
Job Duties
- Prepares menu items according to standard recipes, plate presentations and specifications in a timely manner
- Sets up workstation according to station diagram and daily product inventory to chef's standards
- Completes all assigned prep work to chefs standards
- Maintains product presentation, product quality and cook time standards
- Negotiates narrow crowded aisles with hot and cold food products
- Cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during and after shift
- Practices sanitary and safe food handling always
- Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
- Performs side work before, during and after shift as has ended
- Assists other team members with unit stations and management as needed
- Assists in maintaining a safe working environment
- Presents professional demeanor in attire, language, and attitude
