Job Requirements

  • Serve safe certification preferred
  • minimum one year experience in baking and pastry
  • minimum one year experience in production baking preferred
  • familiarity with large quantity food preparation
  • good knife skills
  • bread baking skills
  • knowledge of baking methods, measurement, and equipment
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • positive attitude
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and professional appearance

Job Duties

  • Prepare baked goods for the menu according to Canyon Ranch guidelines
  • prepare desserts and baked goods for the service period worked
  • store and handle food properly following Health Department requirements
  • prepare and arrange desserts and baked goods according to recipes, nutrition philosophy, and presentation quality
  • prepare and set up assigned work stations as directed
  • report and document any safety hazards or unsafe practices to management immediately
  • maintain cleanliness and professional appearance at all times
