Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • Safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances
  • Adhere to food safety and personal hygiene policies
  • Monitor and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes during shifts
  • Comply with company safety policies, report incidents, and complete safety training
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to confidentiality policies
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and handle telephone protocols
  • Support team efforts to achieve common goals
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and moving around kitchen areas
  • Execute reasonable work duties assigned by supervisors
