Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
- Safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances
- Adhere to food safety and personal hygiene policies
- Monitor and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to management
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes during shifts
- Comply with company safety policies, report incidents, and complete safety training
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to confidentiality policies
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and handle telephone protocols
- Support team efforts to achieve common goals
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and moving around kitchen areas
- Execute reasonable work duties assigned by supervisors
