Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in a professional pastry kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Excellent creativity and presentation skills
- Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff

- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Developing and updating pastry recipes to enhance menu offerings and meet customer preferences
- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of pastry preparation and presentation
- Managing inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed
- Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Creating visually appealing dessert displays for special events and occasions to attract customers
- Monitoring and adjusting baking processes to achieve optimal texture and flavor in all pastry items
- Meeting sales targets by developing seasonal and promotional pastry items that drive customer interest
- Experimenting with new techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations to innovate and improve pastry offerings
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
