Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant or venue-based pastry kitchen
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Strong understanding of diverse pastry techniques and baking fundamentals
  • Passion for creativity and menu development
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and cleanliness
  • Ability to work prolonged standing, bending, and lifting
  • Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and special events
  • Ability to tolerate high-paced, high-heat environments

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe Manager certification is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry team to produce high-quality sweet and savory baked goods
  • Work closely with Events staff before and during service to ensure proper execution of standards and Guest vision
  • Execute daily prep lists and contribute to menu development
  • Attend weekly Banquet Event Order meetings to ensure seamless event execution
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space, following all sanitation and safety protocols
  • Assist with inventory and ingredient ordering and management
  • Operate within and uphold O+O Hospitality's Core Values
