Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare pastries and desserts primarily for CFK and banquet department
- Follow all specifications to properly and efficiently prepare and present all food items including special guest requests
- Rotate food in coolers and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage
- Maintain internal cleanliness of coolers and freezers according to health department standards
- Create new recipes and cost under direction of the Executive Chef
- Develop garden inspired dessert promotions
- Assist in directing and correcting presentation and portioning of food
- Set up hot or cold line stations properly
- Communicate guest requests to appropriate supervisors
- Ensure food quality and proper plate presentation on the line
- Promote and comply with Temecula Creek Inn policies and procedures
- Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas per health standards
- Practice safe work habits to avoid injury
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and proper equipment handling
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
