Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastries and desserts primarily for CFK and banquet department
  • Follow all specifications to properly and efficiently prepare and present all food items including special guest requests
  • Rotate food in coolers and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage
  • Maintain internal cleanliness of coolers and freezers according to health department standards
  • Create new recipes and cost under direction of the Executive Chef
  • Develop garden inspired dessert promotions
  • Assist in directing and correcting presentation and portioning of food
  • Set up hot or cold line stations properly
  • Communicate guest requests to appropriate supervisors
  • Ensure food quality and proper plate presentation on the line
  • Promote and comply with Temecula Creek Inn policies and procedures
  • Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas per health standards
  • Practice safe work habits to avoid injury
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and proper equipment handling
  • Attend all mandatory meetings
  • Perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
