- Culinary or pastry experience required

- Capacity to exert medium work lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally

- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred

Job Duties
- Complete necessary food and station preparation prior to restaurant opening
- Recognize quality standards in fresh ingredients and products
- Deliver pastries baked according to recipe and plating specifications
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and baking equipment
- Prepare ingredients used in cooking and baking
- Cook food using various utensils or ovens
- Ensure attractive presentation and quality of all pastries and food items
- Keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
- Assist Sous-Chef efforts to improve pastry and baking quality
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor
