Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- have a minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume preparation environment
- be flexible to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- be able to work in a team environment
- ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift
- able to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds
- able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- possess CA Food Handlers Certification
- possess CA Responsible Beverage Service Certification
Job Qualifications

- fully competent in all aspects of baking and pastry

Job Duties
- Set up, service and clean pastry area
- prepare a variety of baked goods daily including cookies, cakes, sponge, mousse, custards, and meringue
- follow procedures and directions of Pastry Chef and management
- assist in developing and tasting recipes
- create specialized pastries and decorate for catering events
- assist in baking breads, pies, cakes, cookies per production and catering sheets
- plate desserts and perform pastry station service during meals
- ensure food items are visually appealing with proper garnishes
- follow proper serving methods and portion sizes
- maintain menu board accuracy
- clean and break down stations
- inspect and secure areas after shifts
- carry up to 50 pounds
