Job Requirements
- Good all-around pastry experience
- Ability to perform daily tasks as a highly qualified pastry cook
- Knowledge of pastry fundamentals and basic kitchen operations
- Understanding of accepted sanitation standards

Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a culinary arts program or apprenticeship is preferable
- 1-2 years experience in a pastry kitchen
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and equipment use
- Able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
- Capable of multitasking and providing direction under pressure
Job Duties
- Bake pastry items according to pre-established recipes
- Follow plating and display standards
- Follow all standardized recipes and maintain consistency
- Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen
- Keep pastry area and tools clean before and after service
- Decorate and present desserts consistently
- Maintain inventory of prepped items by labeling and storing ingredients
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Lead pastry section with leadership skills in high-stress environments
- Manage time effectively to deliver orders timely and avoid waste
