Job Requirements
- Good all-around pastry experience
- ability to perform daily pastry tasks as a highly qualified pastry cook
- ability to lead by example in sanitation and presentation

Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a culinary arts program or apprenticeship is preferable
- 1-2 years experience in a pastry kitchen
- good working knowledge of pastry and basic kitchen operations
- strong communication skills in English
- knowledge of proper chemical handling and equipment use
- ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
- ability to multitask under pressure
Job Duties
- Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen
- keep pastry area and tools at the station clean at all times before and after service
- follow portion, plating and display standards set by the pastry chefs
- decorate and present desserts consistently
- maintain inventory of prepped items by properly labeling and storing ingredients
- bake pastry items according to pre-established recipes
- ensure the pastry section adheres to health and safety regulations
- demonstrate proper pastry knowledge
- apply leadership skills to manage the pastry section in a high-stress environment
- manage time effectively to deliver orders timely and avoid food waste
- maintain physical stamina and flexibility for variable working hours
