Job Requirements

  • one to two years of pastry experience preferred
  • food handlers certification required
  • work authorization in the United States
  • ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • demonstrated knowledge of pastry preparation techniques and standards
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • strong attention to detail and quality

Job Duties

  • prepare sweet items such as cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, chocolates and showpieces according to guest and banquet orders
  • maintain production quality and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • cooperate with Food & Beverage team members to ensure efficient service
  • maintain a clean and safe pastry workspace
  • manage inventory and supplies needed for pastry production
  • support seasonal and special event dessert preparations
  • assist in developing new dessert menu items
