Job Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate to advanced baking skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of related experience required
  • Experience with scaling mixing proofing and baking breads and baked goods
  • Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting using whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing sitting walking climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching and moving for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift carry push pull or move objects up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment while performing job duties
  • Specific vision abilities including close color distance peripheral depth perception and adjusting focus

Job Duties

  • Perform intermediate to advanced pastry and baking duties including measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes to make specialty desserts pastries and baked goods
  • Use and clean kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils including ovens mixers and knives safely
  • Maintain a safe sanitary and organized work environment working closely with stewards at all times
  • Assist in training other members of the culinary team
  • Assist in storing and rotating all inventories as needed
  • Perform opening and closing duties as needed
  • Work in different venues kitchens as assigned based on business needs to gain knowledge and assist with advanced food preparation
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls policies procedures and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
