- prior baking or pastry experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends

- flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts
Job Duties
- Set up mise en place for pastry production
- prepare menu items according to recipes and yield guides such as cakes and pastries
- assist in maintaining an inventory of prepped ingredients and check stock
- plate and issue banquet event orders and restaurant desserts according to recipe standards
- use equipment and tools safely and properly while abiding by sanitation and health regulations
- keep the kitchen area and tools clean and sanitize equipment at the end of each production run
- organize and put orders away in designated areas
