Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior baking or pastry experience preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends

  • Prior baking or pastry experience preferred
  • open to entry-level candidates with strong interest and willingness to learn
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • knowledge of or ability to learn kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling standards
  • flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts

Job Duties

  • Set up mise en place for pastry production
  • prepare menu items according to recipes and yield guides such as cakes and pastries
  • assist in maintaining an inventory of prepped ingredients and check stock
  • plate and issue banquet event orders and restaurant desserts according to recipe standards
  • use equipment and tools safely and properly while abiding by sanitation and health regulations
  • keep the kitchen area and tools clean and sanitize equipment at the end of each production run
  • organize and put orders away in designated areas
