Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen
  • Background in luxury hotel, fine-dining, or Forbes-rated environment preferred
  • Pastry degree or equivalent hands-on training advantageous
  • Ability to execute advanced pastry techniques
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen
  • Previous background in luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or Forbes-rated environment preferred
  • Pastry degree or equivalent hands-on training
  • Proven ability in advanced pastry techniques such as baking, laminated doughs, chocolate work, and decorative presentation
  • Strong ingredient knowledge and seasonal awareness
  • Ability to guide and support junior pastry colleagues
  • Genuine passion for elevated guest experiences
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Professionalism and discretion
  • Physical stamina to work in a high-energy kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Execute refined pastry creations across various stations including plated desserts, breakfast pastries, breads, amenities, and banquet production
  • Support daily mise en place and service execution
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Collaborate with pastry team to ensure consistency and quality
  • Guide and support junior pastry colleagues
  • Uphold presentation and ingredient standards
  • Manage pastry inventory and ingredient preparation
