Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate a plus
  • Completion of a culinary school program or apprenticeship preferred
  • Pastry-making experience
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A flexible schedule, especially during the holidays

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate core values of Goodwill Industries by modeling service, ownership, accountability and respect
  • Bake pastry items according to standardized recipes
  • Decorate pastries in a consistent style
  • Follow plating and display standards
  • Follow portion standards
  • Complete daily production and work as assigned
  • Maintain inventory of prepped ingredients
  • Properly label and store ingredients
  • Keep kitchen area and tools clean during and at the end of shift
  • Adhere to ACF and ServSafe Standards
