Job Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of professional pastry kitchen techniques
- Experience in preparing and plating pastry and bakery items
- Open and flexible schedule
- Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Food Protection Manager certification
- Food Handler certification
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR certification

Job Duties
- Communicate all product needs to the executive pastry chef
- Coordinate production of all pastry, bakery, and dessert items
- Assist executive pastry chef with specialty functions and holidays
- Plate desserts for restaurants
- Ensure all cuisine meets the specifications of the executive pastry chef
- Maintain a properly stocked workstation using mise en place techniques
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace
- Report any equipment deficiencies to chefs or managers
- Establish cross-departmental communication channels
- Engage positively with the culinary team
- Communicate food and supply needs to chefs
- Coordinate with front of house on daily service needs
- Report equipment maintenance issues
- Practice teamwork
- Uphold the resort's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values
- Make effective decisions when problems arise
- Provide guests a fond farewell
- Demonstrate professional appearance
- Comply with company policies and safety guidelines
