Job Requirements

  • 2+ years commercial baking/pastry experience or degree in pastry arts with 6+ months commercial baking/pastry experience
  • flexible work availability including weekends
  • WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
  • equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered

Job Duties

  • prepare pastries, baked goods, and dessert components using established recipes
  • ensure each item meets quality, taste, and presentation standards before it goes out
  • follow portion sizes, prep methods, and plating guidelines consistently
  • maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
  • handle, store, and rotate ingredients properly using FIFO practices
  • assist with prep during slower periods and support the team during closing
  • complete the closing checklist for pastry and kitchen stations
  • join team meetings and contribute ideas
