- Food handling and sanitation certification
- Previous cook experience required

Job Duties
- Offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Maintain and strictly abide by state, hotel and departmental safety, sanitation and health regulations
- Adhere to cleanliness standards as per the Culinary Training Manual and Culture
- Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment and tools
- Follow all departmental and hotel policies and procedures
- Participate in daily team line-ups to review assignments and updates
- Complete specified opening duties for kitchen/station
- Prepare pastry items according to recipes and department standards
- Communicate assistance needs to Chef’s Team for optimum guest service
- Maintain proper storage procedures according to health and hotel guidelines
- Minimize waste and maintain departmental controls
- Direct and assist Stewards for efficient cleanup
- Complete closing duties as per checklist
- Review prep lists, orders, and station cleanliness with Chef before leaving
- Perform other duties as assigned
