Job Requirements
- Professional pastry and baking experience required
- full-time availability
- ability to provide photo samples of pastry work
- ability to follow recipes and dietary needs
- ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- ability to work both independently and in a team
- must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience as a pastry cook in hotel, restaurant, country club, or similar industry
- ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
- working knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- understanding of measurements, conversions, nutrition, and diet
- comfortable working independently and with others
- ability to provide photo samples of dessert and pastry creations
Job Duties
- Prepare pastries, baked goods, and desserts under the guidance of the Pastry Chef
- prepare all food according to standard recipes and special dietary orders
- organize pastry production in a cost-effective manner and comply with health and safety standards
- maintain assigned workstation in safe and sanitary condition
- comply with personal hygiene and dress code standards
- operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment properly
