Job Requirements

  • Professional pastry and baking experience required
  • full-time availability
  • ability to provide photo samples of pastry work
  • ability to follow recipes and dietary needs
  • ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards
  • ability to work both independently and in a team
  • must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' experience as a pastry cook in hotel, restaurant, country club, or similar industry
  • ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
  • working knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
  • understanding of measurements, conversions, nutrition, and diet
  • comfortable working independently and with others
  • ability to provide photo samples of dessert and pastry creations

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastries, baked goods, and desserts under the guidance of the Pastry Chef
  • prepare all food according to standard recipes and special dietary orders
  • organize pastry production in a cost-effective manner and comply with health and safety standards
  • maintain assigned workstation in safe and sanitary condition
  • comply with personal hygiene and dress code standards
  • operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment properly
