Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year of experience in a pastry or baking role within a full-service restaurant
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • willingness to learn and grow professionally

Job Qualifications

  • experience in pastry cooking or baking in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • culinary degree or professional training in baking or pastry arts is a plus

Job Duties

  • prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts according to established recipes and standards
  • ensure high quality and consistent presentation of all baked goods
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen areas
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
  • collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service
  • assist with menu development and recipe testing as needed
