Job Requirements

Basic culinary knowledge or equivalent experience
familiarity with kitchen procedures
understanding of food safety and health code standards
ability to communicate professionally
reliable and organized
able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
physical ability to perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

Basic culinary coursework or equivalent experience highly preferred
knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
1 year minimum kitchen experience

Job Duties

Performs light food preparation duties
preps food for cooking, including washing and chopping, etc.
ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff
cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
