Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in pastry or baking preferred
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare pastry and dessert components according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with production of desserts, baked goods, doughs, creams, sauces, and garnishes
- Maintain assigned pastry prep pars for daily service
- Accurately measure ingredients and follow standardized recipes
- Set up, stock, clean, and organize pastry prep stations
- Safely operate and clean kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, sheeters, food processors, and smallware's
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Practice proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation
- Support pastry chefs and kitchen leadership as needed
