Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • Pastry or bakery background
  • Open availability to work varied shifts
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, move, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent general educational development (GED)
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Pastry or bakery background
  • Ability to follow recipes and quality standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing them before use
  • Use kitchen tools and appliances safely and properly for measuring and baking
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Monitor and verify correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, report issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning protocols
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the work shift
