Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • less than 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to work on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • willingness to stretch, bend, twist, crouch, and stoop

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation, and food preparation checklists
  • prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storage
  • use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and properly for measuring and baking
  • follow and ensure compliance with food handling and personal hygiene safety policies and procedures
  • check and ensure correct temperature of kitchen appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
  • wash and sanitize kitchen areas, set up and divide workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout shift
