Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation, and food preparation checklists
- prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storage
- use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and properly for measuring and baking
- follow and ensure compliance with food handling and personal hygiene safety policies and procedures
- check and ensure correct temperature of kitchen appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
- wash and sanitize kitchen areas, set up and divide workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
- monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout shift
