Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety procedures
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely
  • Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area and set-up and break-down workstation
  • Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
  • Report issues to management
  • Follow company policies including safety and security
  • Communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality
  • Maintain cleanliness and personal appearance
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
