Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation, and food preparation checklist
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing before use
- Safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for measuring, baking, and cooking
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
- Check and verify temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to management
- Wash and sanitize the kitchen area, organize and divide workstations while adhering to cleaning and hygiene procedures
- Monitor the quality of prepared food and portion sizes during the work shift
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, and protect company assets
- Communicate professionally using clear language and proper telephone protocols
- Foster positive working relationships and support team objectives
- Comply with quality expectations and standards
- Safely move, lift, push, pull, and position objects up to 25 pounds
- Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- Perform physical activities including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods
- Perform other reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors
