Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing prior to use
- safely operate kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances
- follow food safety policies including personal hygiene procedures
- monitor and report correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
- clean and sanitize kitchen areas and set workstations
- monitor food quality and portion control during shifts
- comply with company policies including safety and report accidents or unsafe conditions
- complete safety trainings and certifications
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- communicate clearly and professionally
- foster positive working relationships and support team goals
- perform physical tasks including lifting items up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and stretching
- carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
