Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of related experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment safely
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to comply with appearance standards and uniform policy
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Availability to work part-time schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Less than 1 year of related work experience

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures diligently
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

  • Ability to perform physical tasks required for the role

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation, and food preparation checklists
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before cooking
  • Safely and properly use tools, equipment, and appliances for baking and cooking
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene policies and procedures
  • Check and ensure correct temperature of kitchen appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, establish and divide workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the workday
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and handle phone protocols appropriately
  • Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Stand, sit, walk, stretch, bend, twist, and move on inclined, irregular, or slippery surfaces
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
