Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen
  • Positive energy ready to assist fellow support staff
  • Ability to speak, read and understand basic baking and cooking directions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
  • Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling or lifting

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare all dessert and baked good items on the menu using standard recipe cards
  • Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
  • Follow kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • Complete a daily prep list and closing checklist for each shift
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation adhering to all health regulations
  • Report product shortages, equipment issues, or food quality concerns to Pastry Chef or Executive Chef
  • Assist team members and work collaboratively
