- Pastry-making experience, including laminated pastry production (viennoiserie) required
- Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship preferred
- Demonstrates adequate pastry skills and operations

Job Duties
- Demonstrating skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies
- Applying classic pastry baking techniques when preparing traditional pastries, including laminated pastries
- Monitoring equipment and ensuring all specialized pastry baking tools are in working order
- Bake pastry items according to pre-established recipes and package products according to commissary guidelines
- Decorate pastries in a consistent style
- Maintain inventory of prepped ingredients
- Properly label and store ingredients
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
- Adhere to the details of the operation, including all operating standards, food standards, service standards, and policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook
- Perform dishwashing duties to ensure clean and sanitized kitchen tools are available for use
- Other duties and tasks assigned
