Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of related experience preferred
  • Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand sit walk climb balance stoop kneel crouch and move throughout the workspace for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift carry push pull or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment
  • Specific vision abilities including close color distance peripheral depth vision and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of related experience preferred
  • Experience with or knowledge of scaling mixing proofing and baking of breads and other baked goods preferred
  • Ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Ability to use basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting with whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform basic pastry and baking duties including scooping and portioning batters and measuring ingredients
  • Use and clean kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils including ovens mixers and knives safely
  • Maintain a safe sanitary and organized working environment working closely with Stewards at all times
  • Learn to perform more advanced pastry and baking duties and assist other members of the culinary team
  • Assist in storing and rotating all inventories as needed
  • Perform opening and closing duties as needed
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls policies procedures and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
