Job Requirements
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- six months of related experience preferred
- ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division and counting
- discretion in handling confidential information
- professionalism in guest and team interactions
- availability for irregular hours and extended shifts including nights mornings weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- willingness to wear personal protective equipment
- specific vision requirements including color and depth perception
Job Qualifications
- a high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months of related experience with knowledge of scaling mixing proofing and baking breads and baked goods preferred
- ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- ability to use basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting using whole numbers and fractions
- ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
- ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing walking climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to wear personal protective equipment while performing job duties
- specific vision abilities including close vision color vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Duties
- perform basic pastry and baking duties including scooping and portioning batters and measuring ingredients
- use and clean kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils safely including ovens mixers and knives
- maintain a safe sanitary and organized working environment working closely with stewards
- learn to perform more advanced pastry and baking duties and assist other culinary team members
- assist in storing and rotating all inventories as needed
- perform opening and closing duties as needed
- perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls policies procedures and regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
