Job Requirements

  • must have a valid Food Handler Permit within 10 days of starting
  • must have non-slip shoes for kitchen use
  • complete all required trainings including Learn, Legal, and Privacy
  • ability to understand and communicate basic English including speaking, writing, and reading
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and balance to perform job tasks
  • ability to successfully pass a background check per Washington State's Fair Chance Employment Act
  • have pastry experience or have attended pastry school

  • must have pastry experience or have attended pastry school
  • display intermediate pastry skills and knowledge
  • have 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • demonstrate ability to operate designated kitchen equipment safely and confidently
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • willingness to learn new recipes and production styles
  • maintain patience and a positive demeanor under pressure

Job Duties

  • create high-quality scratch made desserts that represent a global cuisine
  • work in state-of-the-art kitchens with cutting-edge equipment
  • collaborate with a thriving culinary and pastry team dedicated to excellence
  • grow your skills and advance your career in the industry
  • follow recipes and methods set by the Pastry Chef team to maintain high-quality and consistent items
  • put the finishing touches on items by baking doughs and batters, portioning, filling, building and decorating desserts
  • work closely with shipping and delivery teams to ensure timely and intact deliveries
  • engage with dining guests with information on menu items including flavor profiles and allergens
  • support breakfast, lunch, and dinner services with varied daily menus
