Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 20-60 lbs.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Must comply with store policies and health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate cash register and POS systems is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
- Basic math skills
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with questions, product locations, and general information
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently (if assigned to a cash handling position)
- Keep customer service areas safe, clean, organized and well-stocked
- Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., deli, bakery, produce) to fulfill customer needs
- Adhere to all store policies and health/safety regulations
- Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed
- Lift boxes ranging from 20-60 lbs. (weight of items may vary by department)
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Management Team
