Job Requirements

Valid Food Handlers Card
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
Must be able to operate professional pastry equipment
Must adhere to company cleanliness and food safety standards
Flexible availability to work varied shifts and weekends

Job Duties

Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
Support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all pastry products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
Work with various professional pastry equipment, including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
Take food orders in person and by telephone
Perform all other duties as assigned
