Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum 2 years culinary or restaurant experience
- Ability to follow recipes in a mass volume environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must demonstrate a desire to provide excellent guest service
- Strong piping skills
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field or restaurants
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience focusing on high-volume production
- Strong experience with cakes, plated desserts, and banquet/restaurant environments
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Excellent piping skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong listening skills and ability to take direction
- Passion for pastry and baking
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality cakes, pastries, and plated desserts
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support banquet and restaurant events
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality
- Decorate pastries and desserts using advanced piping skills
- Manage timing and organization to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Assist with creating specialty showpieces for events
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
