Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • passion for pastry and baking
  • minimum of 2 years culinary experience or equivalent education
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong piping skills
  • ability to follow recipes and culinary instructions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field or equivalent culinary degree
  • strong experience with cakes, plated desserts, and banquet and restaurant baking environments
  • knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • ability to follow and understand complex recipes
  • excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • strong piping skills
  • effective communication and listening skills
  • passion for pastry and dedication to guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • prepare and execute a variety of pastries and desserts for hotel and theme park dining
  • collaborate with culinary teams to design and produce specialty showpieces and banquet items
  • maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
  • follow recipes accurately in a high-volume production environment
  • manage time effectively to meet production deadlines
  • assist in inventory control and proper storage of pastry ingredients
  • participate actively in a team-oriented, fast-paced kitchen environment
