Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Culinary degree or certified apprenticeship completion
  • 2-3 years of management experience in contract foodservice
  • Serv Safe Food Manager certification
  • Allergen certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong knowledge of food purchasing
  • Commitment to high customer service and leadership
  • Flexibility for extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
  • Minimum of 2-3 years management experience in contract foodservice industry
  • Experience in premium services, catering, and concessions for sports and entertainment venues
  • Serv Safe Food Manager certification
  • Allergen certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of food purchasing
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible and self-motivated with ability to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced setting

Job Duties

  • Direct and implement guest service and management philosophy that guides team members
  • Work closely with the Executive Culinary Team to review assignments and discuss business levels
  • Demonstrate proficiency in pastry production, artisan bread baking, and advanced sauce-making techniques
  • Develop and implement menus according to Legends Hospitality standards ensuring high-quality presentation, consistency, and flavor
  • Maintain positive guest relations through effective communication and quality service
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and continual service training for staff
  • Maintain health and sanitation standards and ensure proper equipment operation and cleanliness
  • Manage costs related to labor and supplies within budget guidelines
  • Hire, promote, and lead staff with consistent communication, commendations, and disciplinary actions
  • Practice safe work habits and complete safety and compliance training
  • Maintain a positive work environment with pleasant interactions among customers, co-workers, and management
