Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Culinary degree or certified apprenticeship completion
- 2-3 years of management experience in contract foodservice
- Serv Safe Food Manager certification
- Allergen certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong knowledge of food purchasing
- Commitment to high customer service and leadership
- Flexibility for extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
- Minimum of 2-3 years management experience in contract foodservice industry
- Experience in premium services, catering, and concessions for sports and entertainment venues
- Serv Safe Food Manager certification
- Allergen certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of food purchasing
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High level of attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexible and self-motivated with ability to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- Direct and implement guest service and management philosophy that guides team members
- Work closely with the Executive Culinary Team to review assignments and discuss business levels
- Demonstrate proficiency in pastry production, artisan bread baking, and advanced sauce-making techniques
- Develop and implement menus according to Legends Hospitality standards ensuring high-quality presentation, consistency, and flavor
- Maintain positive guest relations through effective communication and quality service
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and continual service training for staff
- Maintain health and sanitation standards and ensure proper equipment operation and cleanliness
- Manage costs related to labor and supplies within budget guidelines
- Hire, promote, and lead staff with consistent communication, commendations, and disciplinary actions
- Practice safe work habits and complete safety and compliance training
- Maintain a positive work environment with pleasant interactions among customers, co-workers, and management
