Job Requirements

  • High school education
  • minimum two years culinary or related work experience
  • advanced culinary knowledge
  • ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment including fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill
  • proficiency in knife skills
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to multitask
  • strong communication and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • culinary school or culinary institute education preferred
  • minimum two years of culinary or related pastry experience
  • advanced culinary knowledge in pastry preparation
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • proficient knife skills
  • ability to multitask efficiently
  • familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Participate in the preparation of artisan pastry items according to guest orders and recipe standards
  • complete mise en place and station set-up for meal services
  • start food items prepared ahead, managing quantities to avoid waste
  • train, motivate, and supervise pastry kitchen staff ensuring adherence to company cultural and quality standards
  • operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, and grills
  • date and rotate food items, monitor stock levels, and control food waste
  • comply with Four Seasons work rules and professional standards
  • maintain harmonious and professional relationships with coworkers and supervisors
