Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of culinary or related experience
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years culinary or related work experience
- Advanced culinary knowledge preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to operate and clean various kitchen equipment proficient knife skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively
Job Duties
- Participate in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, complete mis en place and set-up station for meal services
- Start food items prepared ahead of time without over-preparing
- Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise kitchen employees ensuring cultural and core standards are met
- Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment including fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill
- Date and rotate food containers per policies, maintain proper temperatures, check pars and determine preparation needs, control food waste and loss
- Comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments for next shift
