Job Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in a high-volume bakery or other dining venue
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Ability to meet deadlines with particular attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a high-volume bakery or other dining venue working in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, baking, cake decorating
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively
- Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail
Job Duties
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Help Pastry Chef with decorative cakes, statuaries and ornaments for special events, parties, and banquets
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary preventative maintenance programs
