Job Requirements

  • proven experience as a pastry chef or similar role
  • culinary degree or professional pastry training preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a wide range of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods
  • innovate and develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menus
  • manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • supervise and train junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants
  • ensure hygiene and food safety standards are consistently maintained
  • coordinate with the executive chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations
