Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience as Pastry Chef or strong Lead Line Cook in fine dining
  • Proficiency with Micros office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Proficient in English
  • Culinary school education preferred
  • Food Handler's certificate required
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write English fluently
  • Accurate knife skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations
  • Ability to maintain high quality standards with creativity and speed
  • Ability to work under pressure and use good judgement
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, meet production schedules
  • Leadership skills to direct and lead kitchen staff
  • Willingness to assist in all kitchen phases
  • Must be able to commute to Las Vegas, NV 89109
  • Must work in person

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary school background preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute pastry and dessert recipes consistent with the restaurant's concept
  • Manage all aspects of pastry kitchen operations including organization and cleanliness
  • Lead, train, and supervise pastry kitchen staff effectively
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Research and develop new pastry menu items and improve existing recipes
  • Ensure high quality and artistic plate presentation of desserts
  • Collaborate with culinary team to integrate pastry offerings with overall menu
