Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification
  • prior experience in baking or related role
  • knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation standards
  • proficiency in basic math
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and PPE as required

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • established knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and compliance with sanitation regulations
  • food safety certification
  • proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to convey messages through written and spoken communication
  • physical capability to manage lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking/standing
  • ability to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • arrange your work area with all the essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
  • complete the necessary steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and more to prepare the ingredients
  • handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • take precautions to use utensils, like knives, safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • observe food safety protocols for the correct storage of goods
  • clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used to promote a hygienic workplace
  • uphold a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service when engaging with guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and other individuals
  • implement Aramark safety procedures, which require strict adherence to guidelines for food safety and sanitation
  • guarantee the safety of corporate resources by adhering to established security protocols
