Job Requirements

  • Experience as a baker or similar role
  • Food safety certification
  • Knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency in basic math
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, and standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Established knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and compliance with sanitation regulations
  • Certification: A mandatory requirement for food safety certification(s)
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting is a must
  • Displays strong interpersonal and communication competencies, proficient in conveying messages through both written and spoken communication
  • Physical Competencies: Must possess the capability to manage physical responsibilities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking/standing
  • The role may encompass the requirement of both specific uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage
  • There may be a need for individuals to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms in specific contexts

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Arrange your work area with all the essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
  • Complete the necessary steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and more to prepare the ingredients
  • Handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Take precautions to use utensils, like knives, safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • Observe food safety protocols for the correct storage of goods
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used to promote a hygienic workplace
  • Uphold a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service when engaging with guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and other individuals
  • Implement Aramark safety procedures, which require strict adherence to guidelines for food safety and sanitation
  • Guarantee the safety of corporate resources by adhering to established security protocols
  • Entailing actions like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing durations
