Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
- or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
- ability to lead and supervise a team
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to manage budgets and inventory
- commitment to exceptional guest service
- ability to work full time and in person at Washington DC location
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead and manage pastry culinary team
- supervise and manage employees and daily operations
- personally prepare food items and execute specific requests
- ensure compliance with sanitation and food handling standards
- develop and design new pastry applications and presentations
- maintain food storage, purchasing, and portion control standards
- provide exceptional customer service and improve guest satisfaction
- train and develop staff on menu items and safety procedures
- manage budgets and inventories
- support disciplinary and hiring processes
- engage in problem-solving and communication with management and human resources
