Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
  • availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards
  • ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • passion for desserts and culinary creativity

Job Duties

  • Craft a dessert menu that aligns with the restaurant concept and locale, collaborate with Executive Chef on menu integration
  • prepare detailed recipe cards to ensure consistency in dessert preparation
  • mentor and develop pastry cooks by sharing inspiration and ideas, promoting a positive kitchen culture
  • maintain open communication and receptiveness to feedback with other chefs to ensure cohesive kitchen operations
  • uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards according to health regulations across all pastry workstations and equipment
  • promptly report product shortages, equipment problems, and food quality issues to Executive Chef
  • participate actively in employee meetings, contributing suggestions for improvement
  • prioritize guest experience in all aspects of pastry program execution
