Job Requirements
- Experience as a pastry chef
- More than 3 years experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques and nutrition
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Craft a dessert menu that fits the restaurant concept and locale in partnership with the Executive Chef
- Prepare detailed recipe cards and ensure adherence for consistency
- Motivate, teach and maintain a positive culture among pastry cooks
- Communicate openly with chefs and be receptive to feedback and recipe adjustments
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation in compliance with DHEC regulations
- Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to the Executive Chef promptly
- Participate in employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Ensure the guest experience is prioritized in all tasks
