Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form
- Minimum five years of pastry and baking experience
- At least two years bakery management experience with profit and loss responsibility
- Strong knowledge of profit and loss statements, cost control, menu planning, budgeting, training, inventory control, and sanitation
- Proficiency in all kitchen operations including high volume production and fine dining techniques
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Strong ability to manage time and work independently
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must possess or obtain California Food Handler Certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including all shifts
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of pastry and baking experience
- At least two years in bakery management with profit and loss responsibility
- Strong culinary knowledge including fine dining techniques and high-volume production
- Experience with menu planning, cost control, budgeting, and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possession or ability to obtain California Food Handler Certification
Job Duties
- Oversee all day-to-day pastry and bakery operations including production for restaurants and events
- Develop and execute innovative and standardized pastry recipes and plating concepts
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet brand standards
- Manage bakery inventory, cost control, and participate in budget planning
- Train, schedule, and mentor pastry and event staff to maintain high culinary and service standards
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and compliance regulations within kitchen operations
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership and other chefs to align with organizational goals
