Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years experience in a restaurant with a focus on pastry
  • genuine passion of classic and modern French pastries
  • experience at a fine dining restaurant over 40 seats
  • ability to work cleanly and efficiently
  • product knowledge
  • baking and pastry skillset
  • monitor to ensure proper receiving, storage, including temperature setting, and rotation of food products to comply with Health Department and Department of Agriculture and Markets regulations

Job Duties

  • prepare classic and modern French pastries and desserts
  • monitor to ensure proper receiving, storage, including temperature setting, and rotation of food products
  • comply with Health Department and Department of Agriculture and Markets regulations
  • work cleanly and efficiently in the pastry kitchen
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency of all pastry products
  • maintain inventory and order pastry supplies as necessary
  • ensure all pastry work meets restaurant standards for presentation and taste
